Ukraine's Patrol Police Gets a New Chief

Oleksiy Biloshytskyi has been appointed as the head of the Patrol Police Department of Ukraine. On Thursday, July 30, he was introduced to the personnel by Acting Chief of the National Police Maksym Tsutskiridze.

Prior to his appointment, Biloshytskyi held the position of First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department. He participated in the creation of the patrol police and the subsequent development of its units.

The National Police highlighted his involvement in implementing new approaches to law enforcement work, developing the system for automatic recording of traffic violations, and improving legislation on road safety and public order.

After the start of the full-scale war, Biloshytskyi joined the formation of the "Predator" Brigade under the Patrol Police Department and carried out combat tasks within it. Subsequently, under his leadership, strike drone and aerial reconnaissance units were formed within the brigade.

Biloshytskyi thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police for their trust. He stated his intention to preserve the principles and approaches established in the patrol police, as well as to continue the development of the department.
