Media learned when Trump's special representatives will arrive in Kyiv

U.S. President Donald Trump's special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner may visit Kyiv during the celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day on August 24.

According to his data, the likelihood of the American representatives' visit is assessed as high. At the same time, the White House and the Ukrainian side have not yet officially announced the trip or disclosed its possible agenda.

Witkoff and Kushner are involved in diplomatic contacts aimed at ending the Russian-Ukrainian war. In July, they held a telephone conversation with Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian negotiating group, discussing the intensification of diplomacy and further steps to achieve peace.

The possible trip would be Witkoff and Kushner's first visit to Ukraine. Negotiations about their arrival continued for several months, but previously the plans were repeatedly postponed due to lack of progress in the peace process.

New reports about the visit emerged after a meeting between Zelenskyy and Trump in Washington. American media reported that the parties agreed to continue diplomatic contacts, including the visit of the U.S. president's representatives to Kyiv.
