Zelenskyy carried out personnel changes in the SBU: who was appointed

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a number of decrees on personnel changes in the SBU. This is evidenced by a publication on the website of the President of Ukraine, according to РБК-Україна .

The new appointments affected the leadership of the Special Operations Center “A”, the Human Resources Department, as well as regional SBU offices.

The SBU leadership was renewed

The president carried out large-scale personnel reshuffles in the Security Service of Ukraine. According to the signed decrees, Oleh Fedorov was appointed head of the SBU Special Operations Center “A”.

In addition, Olena Voronova assumed the position of head of the SBU Human Resources Department.

Personnel changes in the regions

At the same time, the president made decisions to reassign the heads of several territorial departments of the SBU.

The changes affected the Security Service of Ukraine branches in:

  • Autonomous Republic of Crimea: Oleksandr Prykhodien;
  • Zhytomyr region: Oleksandr Sudyk;
  • Mykolaiv region: Oleksiy Holoborodko;
  • Ternopil region: Oleh Krasnoshapka;
  • Lviv region: Yaroslav Pylyp;
  • Cherkasy region: Andriy Lytvyn;
  • Poltava region: Vitaliy Mryga;
  • Sumy region: Kostiantyn Semenіuk;
  • Chernivtsi region: Oleh Shvorak.

The respective personnel decisions are formalized by separate decrees of the head of state.

What is known about the new head of the SBU Special Operations Center “A”, Oleh Fedorov?

Oleh Fedorov is a brigadier general of the SBU, a participant in the Russo-Ukrainian war, and a Hero of Ukraine. Prior to his new appointment, he headed one of the divisions of the SBU Special Operations Center “A”.

Previously, this position was held by Yevhen Khmara, who was later appointed acting Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

Recall that on July 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed Tymur Tkachenko as head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, signing the respective decree No. 676/2026.
