Drones attacked Wildberries logistics centers and an oil refinery in two regions of Russia (Updated)

On the night of July 31, following a drone attack in Russia, two Wildberries logistics complexes and an industrial enterprise of the fuel and energy complex caught fire. The affected facilities are located in Volgograd Region and Tatarstan.

In Volgograd, using OSINT analysis, Astra determined that the fire engulfed the Wildberries logistics complex on Buzulutsky Proezd. The center's area exceeds 48,000 square meters.

Wildberries officially confirmed the attack and the fire. Employees were evacuated, and goods acceptance at the warehouse was suspended. The company stated that they had rebuilt logistics chains and transferred supplies and order shipments to other facilities. Preliminarily, there were no casualties among warehouse workers.

Russian authorities also confirmed a fire at an industrial enterprise of the fuel and energy complex in the south of Volgograd but did not name the facility. According to preliminary data from Astra and reports by local residents, the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery might have been hit. There is currently no final confirmation that this particular plant was struck.

Another Wildberries logistics center was attacked in the Zelenodolsk district of Tatarstan. Astra identified the facility from eyewitness footage: after the attack, smoke was observed over the complex building. The extent of possible damage is not specified.

During the general attack on Volgograd, warehouse premises and residential buildings were also damaged, and five people were hospitalized. In Rostov Region, one woman was injured, and an apartment building, private homes, and a shop were damaged.
