Ukraine has expanded the state support program for citizens planning to install autonomous heating in their homes.

This was reported by Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhii Koretskyi on Telegram.

Under the program, citizens will be able to receive a concessional loan of up to 250,000 UAH or up to 480,000 UAH. The money can be used for the purchase of solid fuel stoves, chimneys and related materials, as well as to pay for installation work.

The state will compensate 10% or 20% of the principal amount of the loan, depending on its size.

During the first year, the interest rate will be 0%. In the second year, borrowers will pay 5% per annum, and in the third — 7%.

The program covers houses with an area of no more than 300 square meters.

Koretskyi urged citizens planning to install autonomous heating to take advantage of the state support.
