In July 2026, the State Customs Service transferred almost 78.3 billion UAH of customs payments to the state budget. Compared to July last year, revenues increased by more than 13.1 billion UAH, or 20.2%. This was reported by the State Customs Service.

In total, for January-July, the budget received over 498.4 billion UAH of customs payments. For the first half of the year, this figure amounted to 420.1 billion UAH - 31.9% more than in the same period of 2025.

The customs stated that the July result was the highest monthly indicator since the martial law was introduced. At the same time, another official report of the service noted that in March 2026, over 79 billion UAH was transferred to the budget. Therefore, the claim of a new absolute record requires additional clarification.

Economic activity in July was negatively affected by the destruction of facilities of taxpayer enterprises and imported goods, as well as the suspension of maritime transport through Ukrainian ports.

Despite this, companies continued to carry out foreign economic operations and pay customs duties. In the first half of the year, Ukraine imported goods worth 49.3 billion dollars, of which taxed imports amounted to 34.6 billion dollars.
