Courts have brought two local council deputies to administrative responsibility after the National Agency on Corruption Prevention found inaccurate information in their declarations.

A deputy of the Bozhedarivka settlement council of the Kamianske district of Dnipropetrovsk region was found guilty of violating financial control requirements. The decision was made by the Krynychansky District Court.

According to the NACP, in 2024 the deputy purchased a 2024 Volkswagen Touareg worth over 2.8 million UAH. The origin of more than 1.9 million UAH used to buy the car was explained as a gift from his mother, but information about this gift was not indicated in the declaration.

The deputy also did not declare a leased agricultural land plot with an area of 110,974 square meters in the Katerynopil district. The total amount of inaccurate information exceeded 2 million UAH.

The court imposed a fine of 17,000 UAH on the deputy. The decision has already entered into legal force.

Another case was considered by the Tyvriv District Court of Vinnytsia region. It found a deputy of the Hnivan City Council guilty of inaccurate declaration.

During the check of his 2024 declaration, the NACP found missing information about more than 958,000 UAH in bank accounts. The deputy also did not declare a residential house with an area of 195.7 square meters in Vinnytsia region worth 1.1 million UAH.

He was also fined 17,000 UAH. This court decision has entered into legal force.

Both deputies were held liable under part 4 of Article 172-6 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses - submission of knowingly inaccurate information in the declaration.
