NBU exchange rates for August 4
The exchange rates of major currencies set by the National Bank of Ukraine on Tuesday, August 4, 2026
The US dollar exchange rate, compared to August 3, reached 44.7876 per 1 dollar.
The euro rose by 37 kopiykas to 51.6423 per 1 euro.
The pound sterling rose by 41 kopiykas to 60.3110 per 1 pound sterling.
The Swiss franc rose by 28 kopiykas to 55.4096 per 1 Swiss franc.
The Polish zloty rose by 11 kopiykas to 12.0006 per 1 Polish zloty.

The National Bank of Ukraine sets the exchange rate between 3 PM and 4 PM, and the rate comes into effect the next day. Also at 12 PM, the NBU publishes a reference rate value, which serves as an indicator of what to expect at 3 PM. On weekends and public holidays, the rates of the last working day are applied.
The National Bank continues to work daily to maintain the stability of the hryvnia, conducting currency interventions, and does not allow significant fluctuations in exchange rates.
