New car sales in Ukraine fell by 10%

In July 2026, Ukrainians purchased 5,754 new passenger cars. That is 10.5% less than the same month last year.

The most popular brand of the month was Toyota. The company sold 986 cars in Ukraine, improving last year's result by 20%.

Škoda took second place with 693 cars — 24% more than in July 2025. Volkswagen sold 444 cars, which is 10% less year-on-year.

Also among the top five were Renault with 345 cars sold and BMW with 308. Renault sales decreased by 47%, while BMW increased them by 17%.

Next came Hyundai — 298 cars, Mazda — 259, BYD — 229, Suzuki — 194, and Audi — 156. The largest growth in the top ten was shown by Mazda — by 66%. The steepest decline was recorded for BYD — by 69%.

The most popular model in July was the Toyota RAV4 crossover.

Since the beginning of 2026, about 38.8 thousand new passenger cars have been sold in Ukraine. That is 1% less than the same period last year.
