Russian attack destroys warehouse of "Lasunka", company warns of ice cream supply disruptions
As a result of the Russian attack, the warehouse complex of the Ukrainian ice cream producer "Lasunka" has been completely destroyed. The company warned that its products might soon be unavailable in stores.
According to the company, the fire destroyed all products prepared for shipment to retail chains throughout Ukraine.
"Lasunka" apologized to customers and partners for potential supply disruptions. The company did not disclose information about casualties, the exact location of the complex, or the amount of damage caused.
The day before, authorities reported that a massive fire broke out at food warehouses on the outskirts of Dnipro as a result of a Russian drone attack. However, it has not been officially confirmed that it was the "Lasunka" facility.
According to information on the manufacturer's website, "Lasunka" is a group of four enterprises. The company's production facilities are located in Dnipro and Ternopil, and separate enterprises provide its logistics.
The company has been operating since 1997 and produces ice cream and frozen foods. According to its own data, over a thousand people work at "Lasunka" enterprises.
