Exchange rates of major currencies set by the National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday, August 5, 2026
The dollar rate, compared to August 4, decreased to 44.7488 per 1 dollar.
The euro fell by 11 kopiykas to 51.5372 per 1 euro.
The pound sterling rate decreased to 60.1737 per 1 pound sterling.
The swiss franc rate decreased by 8 kopiykas to 55.3274 per 1 Swiss franc.
The Polish zloty fell by 3 kopiykas to 11.9675 per 1 Polish zloty.

The National Bank of Ukraine sets the exchange rate from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the rate becomes effective from the next day. Also at 12:00 PM, the NBU publishes the reference value of the rate, which serves as an indication of what to expect at 3:00 PM. On weekends and holidays, the rates of the last working day apply.
The National Bank continues to work daily to maintain the stability of the hryvnia, conducting currency interventions, and does not allow significant fluctuations in exchange rates.
