In Russia, drones attacked a Wildberries warehouse

On the night of August 5, drones attacked facilities in Tula Oblast and Rostov-on-Don. The largest confirmed fire occurred at a Wildberries logistics center in the city of Aleksin. Production facilities and residential buildings were also damaged, one person was injured.

Astra publication, using geolocation of witness videos, determined that the Wildberries warehouse was burning in Aleksin. The company's press service confirmed the fire at the logistics facility and reported that employees were evacuated in advance. Acceptance of new shipments was temporarily restricted, and cargo was redirected to other centers. 

Governor of Tula Oblast Dmitry Milyaev stated that a drone fell on the territory of a sorting center, after which a fire broke out. According to his data, one person was injured; there are no fatalities.

The Russian official also reported damage to two apartment buildings in Veneva District and two production facilities in Novomoskovsk and Uzlovskoy District. He claims that during the night, Russian air defense destroyed 107 drones. There is no independent confirmation of this number.

According to Astra's analysis, near one of the damaged buildings in the Yuzhny neighborhood of the city of Venev, debris, likely from a rocket, was lying on the roadway. The exact origin of the debris and the circumstances of the building's damage have not yet been determined.

In Rostov-on-Don, a gas station was also attacked at night. Astra geolocated videos released by witnesses, showing a fire and cars burning near the gas station. According to preliminary information, there are no injuries there.

Reports from monitoring channels about an attack in Kazan, as well as claims about the use of the Wildberries warehouse for storing military cargo, did not have sufficient independent confirmation at the time of publication.
