Russian Attack on Dnipro Destroys Warehouse of a Leading Household Goods Manufacturer

Late in the evening on August 3, a Russian drone hit a warehouse of the "Biosphere" corporation in Dnipro. As a result of the fire, the 6,000 square meter building was completely destroyed.

The warehouse, which stored the company's finished products, was part of a large logistics complex with a total area of 20,000 square meters.

During the attack, the staff was in a shelter, so no one was injured. State Emergency Service rescuers worked at the site of the strike, but due to the scale of the fire, the building could not be saved.

Along with the warehouse, the company lost warehouse machinery, equipment, and part of its finished product inventory. The final amount of the inflicted damages is currently being assessed.

The destruction of the facility affected "Biosphere's" logistics processes. The management and employees of the company are working around the clock to restructure logistics, redistribute warehouse flows and stocks.

The corporation's production sites continue to operate normally. The company stated that it is fulfilling its obligations to customers and partners, but asked for understanding regarding possible changes in the supply of certain assortment items.

This is the second Russian strike on "Biosphere" enterprises in the last year and a half. On April 10, 2025, a Russian missile hit the "Biosphere Complex" production facility. Despite the damage, the corporation did not stop operations at that time.

"Biosphere" is a Ukrainian manufacturer and distributor of household and personal hygiene products, founded in 1997. The company's portfolio includes the brands Freken BOK, Smile, Smile Baby, Selpak, Vortex, Novita and others.
