PrivatBank to Spend 350 Million UAH on Diesel Generators

PrivatBank has ordered 449 diesel generators with connection for a total sum of 349.96 million UAH. The contract with LLC "Darex Trading Solutions" was signed on July 22, and the equipment is to be delivered within two years.

The procurement includes 173 units with a capacity of 9.5 kW, 271 generators of 15 kW, and five units with a capacity of 23 kW. The cost of the equipment varies from 547.9 thousand to 599.5 thousand UAH per unit, depending on the model.

Separately, the bank has ordered the connection of each generator for approximately 200 thousand UAH. The final cost of this work will be determined based on the actual materials used and the work performed.

Darex Energy generators are manufactured in Turkey. They must be equipped with Japanese Yanmar engines and Turkish or French alternators. The units will be supplied in noise- and weather-proof enclosures, with electric start and an automatic reserve transfer system.

The bidding took place on PrivatBank’s proprietary electronic platform, after which the contract information was published in the Prozorro system. "Darex Trading Solutions" was the sole participant in the procurement.

The bank is to pay half of the cost within ten working days, although the available information does not specify the event from which this period starts. The remaining funds will be disbursed upon delivery of the equipment. No exact market prices for the ordered models were found in open sources, so it is impossible to draw conclusions about a possible overpayment based on the provided data alone.
