Russian strike destroys warehouse with Bosch products

As a result of a nighttime Russian attack, warehouse facilities of a Bosch logistics partner in Ukraine have been destroyed. According to preliminary information from the company, all Bosch products that were stored at this facility have been destroyed.

The warehouse held goods from various company business sectors—mobility products, consumer goods, and equipment for industrial technologies. Bosch has not yet disclosed the volume of lost inventory or the preliminary cost of damages.

The company also did not name the location of the destroyed warehouse or its logistics partner. There is currently no information about possible delays in supplying products to stores, service centers, and industrial customers.

Bosch, together with the logistics operator, is assessing the consequences of the strike and reconfiguring processes to maintain supply and fulfill obligations to customers and partners.

Employees of Bosch and the logistics company were not harmed. Rescue workers and representatives of local authorities worked at the destruction site.

During the massive attack on August 5, Russian forces also struck a number of large trade, manufacturing, and logistics facilities. Previously, Kurs Ukrainy reported on the destruction or damage of facilities of Rozetka, "Nova Poshta", and "Epicentr", as well as the central warehouse of Liqui Moly automotive oils and auto chemicals. In particular, the largest Rozetka warehouse handled over 100 thousand orders per day, and "Epicentr", due to the destruction of production furnaces, halted its ceramic tile factory.

Additionally, the logistics center of NOVUS, two distribution centers of "Silpo", and warehouses with products of PUMA and INTERTOP were destroyed. INTERTOP lost a significant part of its inventory, equipment, and logistics infrastructure, and PUMA warned of a possible shortage of certain goods.
