Almost 255 thousand Kyiv residents will receive payments for Independence Day
Kyiv will provide one-time targeted financial assistance to almost 255 thousand residents of the capital on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence.
For the payments, 146 million UAH will be allocated from the city budget. The assistance is intended for specific categories of Kyiv residents who need additional social support.
The payment will be one-time. Its amount will depend on the category to which the recipient belongs. The funds will be provided within the framework of city programs for social protection of the population.
The city authorities emphasized that the financial support is meant to help socially vulnerable residents of the capital and families entitled to the benefits and assistance provided by Kyiv.
