The Ministry of Education has extended the admission campaign for graduate school: new deadlines

The Ministry of Education and Science has updated the deadlines for the 2026 graduate school admission campaign. Applicants will have more time to submit applications and take specialty exams.

Applications for participation in the competitive selection and registration for the specialty entrance exam will be accepted until 6:00 PM on September 7.

Updated admission campaign schedule:

  • September 8–21 - specialty entrance exams and other assessments provided by the educational institution;
  • from September 22 - recommendations for enrollment;
  • until September 26 - update of the lists of those recommended for state-funded places if some applicants fail to meet the requirements;
  • until September 28 - enrollment of applicants who have received recommendations.

Universities can also conduct additional enrollment on a contract basis for part-time or evening forms of study. It can start no earlier than September 29, and enrollment must be completed no later than October 15.

The results of the main session of the unified entrance exam and the unified entrance test, which took place in July, should appear in the personal cabinets of the participants by August 7.

The additional session of the UEE and UET will take place on August 24–28. Its results will be announced by September 4.

The specialty entrance exam is mandatory for all candidates, including applicants who have the right to special conditions. Its result will constitute 60% of the competitive score.

Educational institutions may additionally conduct interviews, presentations of research proposals, evaluation of scientific achievements, or other exams. The list of such tests should be checked in the admission rules of a specific university.
