In January–July 2026, local budgets of Ukraine received UAH 324.9 billion in taxes and fees. This is 16%, or UAH 44.9 billion, more than in the same period last year.

The largest source of local budget revenue remains the personal income tax. Over seven months, its receipts amounted to UAH 197.8 billion, an increase of 20.5% year-on-year.

Among other main revenue sources:

  • unified tax – UAH 50.7 billion, which is 10.9% more;
  • property tax – UAH 37.3 billion, up by 12.4%;
  • corporate profit tax – UAH 19.2 billion, up by 3%.

Tourist tax receipts for January–July reached UAH 215.9 million, exceeding last year's figure by 21.3%. The parking fee brought UAH 136.5 million to communities – 14% more.

Head of the State Tax Service Lesia Karnaukh noted that communities have additional reserves to increase revenues. This includes, in particular, proper accounting of land plots and real estate, official employment, and full payment of taxes by businesses.
