NBU exchange rates for August 12
Exchange rates of major currencies set by the National Bank of Ukraine on Wednesday, August 12, 2026
The US dollar exchange rate, compared to August 11, rose to 44.8660 per 1 dollar.
The euro exchange rate fell to 51.7597 per 1 euro.
The pound sterling exchange rate rose by 3 kopecks to 60.5422 per 1 pound sterling.
The Swiss franc decreased by 10 kopecks to 55.3286 per 1 Swiss franc.
The Polish zloty exchange rate rose to 12.0452 per 1 Polish zloty.

The National Bank of Ukraine sets the exchange rate between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, and the rate comes into effect the following day. Also at 12:00 PM, the NBU publishes a reference rate, which serves as a guide of what to expect at 3:00 PM. On weekends and holidays, the rates of the last working day apply.
The National Bank continues to work daily to maintain the stability of the hryvnia by conducting foreign exchange interventions, preventing significant fluctuations in exchange rates.
