"Silpo" and "Fora" plan to restore assortment in stores by August 24
In Fozzy Group supermarkets across Ukraine, there may temporarily be a shortage of certain products due to damage to four distribution centers. The company is restructuring its logistics and plans to restore normal shelf stocking by Independence Day, August 24.
Disruptions may occur in stores of "Silpo", "Fora" and THRASH! TRASH!, which received products through the damaged facilities. Fozzy Group did not specify which product categories may be in short supply and in which regions the problem will be most noticeable.
Four distribution centers of the company were damaged as a result of a Russian shelling on the night of August 5. Fozzy Group described the material losses as significant, but the heaviest consequence was the death of employees.
According to the latest data, six employees died as a result of the strikes. The company maintains contact with the families of the dead and injured and provides them with necessary assistance.
Currently, product flows are being redistributed among other facilities. The company expects that the difficulties with assortment will be temporary and situational.
