The first stage of attestation of the heads of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine has been completed, with 12 out of 50 officials passing it successfully. All of them work in the central office, according to BEB Director Oleksandr Tsyvinskyi.

Attestation applied to 40 heads and deputy heads of central office units, as well as 10 officials from territorial divisions. Of them, 28 resigned: 21 from the central office and 7 from territorial divisions.

22 heads began the procedure. According to the published infographic, 12 passed the attestation, 9 did not. The result of one more participant was not separately explained in the message.

The declared 74% renewal rate corresponds to the share of officials who resigned or did not pass attestation: 37 out of 50. However, this does not mean that all vacant positions have already been filled with new employees.

Currently, the second stage of attestation is underway. Testing was started by 915 BEB employees, of whom 887 scored a passing grade, and 28, or 3.1%, failed the test. The next stage will be interviews with attestation commissions, the beginning of which is scheduled for August.

Another 60 candidates are awaiting the start of testing. Tsyvinskyi called it preparation of the fourth wave of forming the renewed team of the bureau.
