Gas stations reduced gasoline prices, but autogas slightly increased - price comparison

Average prices for gasoline and diesel fuel in Ukraine during the period from August 10 to August 14 decreased, while automotive gas ended the week with a slight increase. Among the main types of fuel, A-92 gasoline lost the most in price - 81 kopecks per liter.

As of August 14, the average price of A-95 gasoline is 80.63 UAH/l, premium A-95 - 83.99 UAH/l, A-92 - 77.06 UAH/l. Diesel on average costs 92.48 UAH/l, autogas - 43.69 UAH/l, according to the Consulting Group "A-95".

For comparison, on August 10 a liter of A-95 averaged 81.05 UAH, A-95 premium - 84.28 UAH, A-92 - 77.87 UAH, diesel - 92.64 UAH, and automotive gas - 43.64 UAH.

Thus, in five days regular A-95 became cheaper on average by 42 kopecks, or approximately 0.5%. A-92 lost 81 kopecks, or slightly more than 1%. Premium gasoline fell by 29 kopecks, and diesel only by 16 kopecks.

Autogas moved differently. At the beginning of the week its average price decreased: from 43.64 UAH on August 10 to 43.60 UAH on August 12. However, in the next two days the trend changed, and by August 14 the average cost rose to 43.69 UAH per liter.

Which of the major networks changed prices the most

Among the largest operators, KLO revised prices most noticeably during the week. From August 10 to August 14, the network reduced A-95 from 81.10 to 79.90 UAH/l, i.e. by 1.20 UAH. A-92 became cheaper by 1 UAH - to 77.90 UAH, premium gasoline - by 70 kopecks, to 84.30 UAH. The largest decrease was in autogas - from 44.90 to 43.50 UAH/l, or by 1.40 UAH. Diesel remained at the level of 93.90 UAH.

UPG also noticeably reduced prices. Premium gasoline, A-95 and diesel became cheaper by 1 UAH per liter. As of August 14, they cost respectively 80.90 UAH, 78.90 UAH and 89.90 UAH. The gas price did not change - 42.90 UAH.

In the UKRNAFTA network, gasolines also fell by 1 UAH. A-95 premium decreased to 81.90 UAH/l, A-95 - to 78.90 UAH, A-92 - to 76.90 UAH. Meanwhile, diesel and gas remained unchanged - 89.90 and 42.90 UAH respectively. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}

BRSM-Nafta during this period reduced the average price of A-95 by 63 kopecks - from 78.67 to 78.04 UAH/l. Diesel became cheaper by 91 kopecks and on August 14 costs 90.08 UAH. At the same time, gas slightly increased - by 6 kopecks, to 41.42 UAH.

OKKO and SOCAR left prices unchanged, WOG increased diesel

In OKKO from August 10 to 14, prices for the main types of fuel actually did not change. As of August 14, premium A-95 costs 85.90 UAH/l, regular A-95 - 82.90 UAH, diesel - 93.90 UAH, gas - 43.90 UAH.

SOCAR also kept prices at the level of the beginning of the week: 88.40 UAH for premium A-95, 85.40 UAH for A-95, 95.90 UAH for diesel and 43.47 UAH per liter of gas. Among the considered large networks, SOCAR remains one of the most expensive for gasoline and diesel fuel.

WOG did not change prices for gasoline and autogas: premium A-95 costs 85.90 UAH/l, A-95 - 83.50 UAH, gas - 44.50 UAH. Instead, diesel rose by 1 UAH over the week - from 93.80 to 94.80 UAH/l.

AMIC left gasoline and gas unchanged: premium A-95 costs 82.99 UAH, A-95 - 79.99 UAH, gas - 42.87 UAH. Diesel for five days became cheaper by 31 kopecks - from 92.41 to 92.10 UAH/l.

Thus, the overall decrease in average gasoline prices during the week was uneven. Some large networks, in particular KLO, UPG and UKRNAFTA, significantly reduced prices, while OKKO and SOCAR practically did not revise them. There is also no single direction in the diesel market: UPG, AMIC and BRSM-Nafta lowered prices, but WOG, on the contrary, raised them.

As of August 14, among the considered large networks the cheapest A-95 is offered by BRSM-Nafta - on average 78.04 UAH/l. UKRNAFTA and UPG sell it at 78.90 UAH, KLO - 79.90 UAH, AMIC - 79.99 UAH. At the same time, in WOG the average price is 83.50 UAH, in SOCAR - 85.40 UAH.
