On the night of August 17, Russian troops attacked industrial facilities and port infrastructure in Poltava and Odesa regions. At least three industrial enterprises were hit.

According to the Poltava Regional Military Administration, the Kremenchuk district was attacked with ballistic missiles. The targets were two industrial enterprises.

Fires broke out at both facilities after the strikes. At one enterprise, rescuers extinguished the fire during the night. At the other, work had to be temporarily postponed due to the threat of repeated strikes. By morning, the fire was also completely extinguished.

In addition, Russian drones attacked another industrial enterprise in the Myrhorod district. Thus, in Poltava region alone, three industrial facilities were hit during the night.

Another target was the port infrastructure of the Izmail district in Odesa region. According to the Izmail District State Administration, fires broke out at port facilities as a result of the night attack. They have already been completely extinguished.

The authorities have not yet reported the extent of material damage to enterprises and port infrastructure. In Poltava region, there were no casualties as a result of the attacks.
