Every third displaced person who applied to the employment service got a job

Every third internally displaced person who applied for help to the State Employment Service in 2026 was able to find a job. The largest number of displaced persons were employed in Dnipropetrovsk region.

During seven months of 2026, the employment service was contacted by 38.6 thousand people who were forced to move due to the security situation in their regions. In total, since the beginning of the year, various services provided by the service were used by 65.6 thousand internally displaced persons.

The most active work with displaced persons was carried out by employment centers of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Dnipropetrovsk region became the leader

The largest number of IDPs were employed in Dnipropetrovsk region - with the participation of displaced persons, almost 3.7 thousand vacancies were filled. This is about 15% of the total number of IDP employments with the assistance of the employment service.

Some displaced persons continue to remotely use services of employment centers of their regions after the move. In particular, residents who left Donetsk region can remotely cooperate with the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, search for vacancies and undergo professional training.

More than 5 thousand IDPs completed training

Since the beginning of the year, more than 5 thousand internally displaced persons have undergone professional training. The largest number of such participants was among the clients of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center - 828 people, or 16% of the total.

Displaced persons were involved in community works almost 1.5 thousand times. The largest number of such participants was in Kharkiv region - 261 people.

Almost 12.4 thousand IDPs were involved in socially useful works in 2026. More than 2 thousand referrals were issued in Kharkiv region, which is about 16% of the total.

About 42 thousand displaced persons used career guidance services. The largest number of such services was provided in Dnipropetrovsk region - about 5.2 thousand.
