Police reveal which territorial recruitment center heads most often become subjects of investigations

About 80% of the heads of territorial recruitment and social support centers who come under investigation by the National Police represent the district level. This was reported by Maksym Tsutskiridze in an interview with Censor.NET.

In total, 76 heads of TCCs at the regional, district and city levels have already been notified of suspicion. At the same time, it is the heads of district centers who constitute the vast majority of those appearing in police investigations.

What schemes are being investigated

According to Tsutskiridze, criminal proceedings relate to various schemes. Among them - receiving an unlawful benefit for a necessary decision, abuse of influence, illegal issuance of military registration documents, making changes to the "Oberig" register, registration of fictitious unfitness for military service and organization of subsequent departure abroad.

Most often such actions are classified as receiving an unlawful benefit or abuse of influence - under Articles 368 and 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. In certain proceedings, Article 332 is also applied - illegal transfer of persons across the state border.

Depending on the qualification of the offense, the maximum punishment can be up to 12 years of imprisonment. In certain cases, confiscation of property and prohibition to hold certain positions are also provided for.

The National Police emphasizes that in cases related to illegal schemes during mobilization, responsibility should be borne not only by the military-aged persons who used them, but also by officials and intermediaries who ensured the adoption of illegal decisions.
