Fuel prices gradually decreasing in Ukraine: comparison of prices at gas stations
Average fuel prices in Ukraine continue to gradually decrease. As of August 18, A-95 gasoline costs on average 80.16 UAH per liter – 13 kopecks less than the day before, and 47 kopecks cheaper than on August 14. Diesel fuel for the same period decreased in price by 40 kopecks – to 92.08 UAH per liter.
According to the consulting group "A-95", the average cost of all major fuels decreased over the past day. Regular A-95 decreased in price most noticeably, while prices for autogas and A-92 changed minimally.

Thus, since August 14, the largest average decreases were seen for A-95 – by 47 kopecks per liter, diesel – by 40 kopecks, and premium A-95 – by 26 kopecks. A-92 and autogas remained practically unchanged during this period.

Among the eight large chains, the cheapest A-95 on August 18 is offered by "BRSM-Nafta" – on average at 77.99 UAH per liter. The highest price among these operators is at SOCAR – 83.40 UAH. Diesel costs from 89.83 UAH at "BRSM-Nafta" to 95.90 UAH at SOCAR, and autogas – from 41.41 UAH to 44.50 UAH at WOG.
How prices changed compared to August 17
In most large chains, prices have not changed over the past day. The exception was AMIC, where diesel became cheaper by 22 kopecks – to 90.93 UAH per liter, and A-95 and A-95+ gasolines – by one more kopeck. "BRSM-Nafta" reduced A-95 by 5 kopecks, diesel by 9 kopecks, and gas by one kopeck.

If compared to August 14, the most noticeable changes among large operators occurred at SOCAR and AMIC. At SOCAR, A-95 gasoline and premium A-95+ decreased in price by 2 UAH per liter – to 83.40 and 86.40 UAH, respectively.
AMIC during this period reduced A-95 and A-95+ by 1.01 UAH, and diesel by 1.17 UAH. At WOG, A-95 became cheaper by 60 kopecks, and diesel by 90 kopecks. In OKKO, UKRNAFTA, UPG and KLO, prices for the presented fuels have not changed compared to August 14.
Some chains have reduced prices even more noticeably
Among other operators during the last day, there were also more significant adjustments. Grand Petrol reduced prices for A-95 and A-95+ by 2 UAH per liter. At VostokGaz, A-95 gasoline and diesel became cheaper by 2 UAH, and autogas by 1 UAH.
At Ovis gas station, the reduction covered almost the entire range: A-95+ and A-95 became 1 UAH cheaper, A-92 also by 1 UAH, diesel by 90 kopecks, gas by 30 kopecks. At "DNIPRONAFTA", diesel during the day became cheaper by 3 UAH at once – from 92.99 to 89.99 UAH per liter.
Thus, by August 18, the general direction of the market remains descending: average prices for gasoline and diesel are gradually decreasing, although at some of the largest chains, prices have remained unchanged in recent days.
