Teachers will be able to get a deferment in "Reserve+", the Ministry of Defense has launched beta testing
The Ministry of Defense has started beta testing a new service in the Reserve+ application that will allow teachers and other pedagogical staff of general secondary education institutions to apply for mobilization deferment fully online. After testing is completed, the service will become available to a wider range of users.
Teachers and other pedagogical staff of schools who work at their main place of employment for at least 0.75 rate and do not have a valid deferment at the time of participating in the beta test can join the testing.
To apply for a deferment, it will be enough to submit a request in Reserve+. After that, the system will automatically check information in state registries, in particular in the Automated Information Complex of Educational Management - AIKOM. If the right to deferment is confirmed, it will be issued automatically, and the relevant information will appear in the electronic military registration document.
Thus, pedagogical staff will not have to collect certificates and submit documents through the Administrative Services Center. At the same time, before applying, the Ministry of Defense recommends checking the accuracy of data in AIKOM. This can be done through the administration of the educational institution or the employee responsible for maintaining the relevant data.
Currently, online deferments in Reserve+ are already available to scientific, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical staff of higher, professional pre-higher and vocational education institutions. Kurs Ukrainy previously wrote about the expansion of this service for scientific workers. Now the Ministry of Defense is extending the online mechanism to teachers of general secondary education institutions.
