In Boryspil, after the RF attack, food warehouses and Red Cross facilities burned

In Boryspil, Kyiv region, as a result of a massive Russian attack on the night of August 20, fires broke out at civilian warehouse facilities. Among others, food warehouses and Red Cross facilities were hit.

This was reported by Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretskyi. According to him, rescuers continued extinguishing the fires that occurred after the strikes.

"In Boryspil there was a strike on food warehouses and Red Cross facilities", - reported the head of government, stressing that that same night Russia attacked civilian infrastructure also in Odesa and Chernihiv regions.

The State Emergency Service also reported on the elimination of the consequences of the Russian attack in Kyiv region. Rescue units worked at the impact sites, fighting fires and carrying out necessary emergency rescue operations.

Local Telegram channels published photos and videos of a large fire in the warehouse area near Boryspil at night. According to their reports, the fire occurred in one of the largest industrial and logistics districts. However, such reports do not allow an independent determination of which enterprises or warehouses were hit.

Official information on the extent of material damage and the list of all damaged facilities is currently being clarified.

Earlier, the Russian side stated that during the night attack it allegedly struck defense industry enterprises and logistics facilities in Kyiv and the region. Ukraine has not confirmed these statements regarding Russia's declared list of targets. Data on strikes on food warehouses and Red Cross facilities indicate damage to civilian infrastructure.
