Russian attack halts operation of border crossing point on the border with Moldova
The international border crossing point "Tabaky - Myrne" on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border has temporarily suspended operations after a Russian attack by strike drones. Infrastructure of the border crossing point and administrative buildings of the customs post were damaged.
According to the State Customs Service, citizens and vehicles are currently not being allowed through "Tabaky". Customs formalities have also been fully suspended.
Citizens and carriers were urged to take the restrictions into account when planning trips and to use other operating border crossing points on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border. The customs service will provide additional notification regarding the resumption of "Tabaky - Myrne" operations.
The Odesa Regional Military Administration previously reported that on the night of August 21, Russian forces carried out a massive attack by strike drones on civilian infrastructure in the region.
According to the Regional Military Administration, the strike damaged the international border crossing point, including administrative buildings of the customs post. Relevant services are working on site to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
