Mykytas returned the "Ukrbud" asset in central Kyiv through a raider scheme - EP
Developer Maxim Mykytas, through a scheme being investigated by NABU and SAP, regained control of a company owning a 1.4-hectare land plot in Pechersk. It is about the territory of the former building of the Arsenal factory in central Kyiv, the value of which investigators estimate at more than UAH 500 million.
About which asset appears in the second part of the NABU and SAP investigation called "Femida", "Ekonomichna Pravda" found out.
According to investigators, in autumn 2025, a criminal organization, which law enforcement includes Mykytas, people's deputy Vadym Stolar, then deputy head of the President's Office Iryna Mudra, and others, seized two enterprises with total assets worth UAH 248 million.
One of them was LLC "Filosofiia Developmentu". The company owned a plot of about 1.4 hectares at 8 Knyaziv Ostrozkykh St. in Kyiv, where the fourth building of the Arsenal factory was previously located.
Investigators estimate the land itself at more than UAH 500 million. The factory building on this territory was dismantled back in 2021.
This asset was already associated with Mykytas. In March 2019, his representatives purchased the Arsenal building from Ukrgasbank as seized property for UAH 564 million - about $21 million at the exchange rate then. "Ukrbud Development" planned to build the "Arsenal Plaza" business center on this site.
However, after the collapse of Mykytas' construction empire, his representatives left the founders of "Filosofiia Developmentu" in autumn 2019. Subsequently, among structures associated with the company's owners, businesses of Vadym Stolar and the development group "Intergal-Bud" appeared.
According to the investigation, in 2025 Mykytas and Stolar agreed to jointly regain control over the assets and split future income in half. As follows from published recordings, Mykytas coordinated the process, while Stolar financed part of the costs and lent the partner for his share.
To change the owners of the enterprises, the scheme participants, according to NABU, recruited hackers to interfere in state registers, used forged court decisions, and re-registered corporate rights to front persons.
To complicate the return of assets to previous owners, they also used criminal proceedings and arrests of corporate rights. Separately, investigators are checking possible influence on officials and judges.
According to EP, Mykytas and Stolar spent about $514 thousand on the activities of the criminal organization.
On August 19, NABU and SAP notified the case figures of suspicions. The outlined circumstances are the investigators' version, and the guilt of specific individuals can only be determined by the court.
