Three major Ozon logistics centers attacked overnight in Russia

On the night of August 24, several large warehouse and logistics facilities in southern Russia came under attack. In particular, three Ozon logistics centers in Adygea, Stavropol Krai, and Dagestan were reported, as well as a fire at a large home goods warehouse in Krasnodar.

In Krasnodar, Astra located via eyewitness footage the fire at the warehouse of the Kuchenland Home dishware and home goods chain on Krugovaya Street. Initially, monitoring channels reported that an Ozon warehouse might be burning there, but subsequent geolocation did not confirm this.

Meanwhile, a large Ozon logistics center indeed caught fire near the village of Enem in Adygea. It is the facility "KRASNODAR_2_RFTS" located in the Takhtamukaysky district. The head of Adygea confirmed the drone attack and fire on the territory of the logistics center. Personnel were evacuated, and no reports of fatalities or injuries have been received.

Ozon reported that due to the fire, work at this warehouse was halted, sellers' deliveries were temporarily not accepted, and logistics routes began to be redirected to other facilities. Orders that cannot be fulfilled from other warehouses will be cancelled with refunds to customers, the company promised.

Another major Ozon facility was in the attack zone in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai. Astra geolocated via eyewitness video a fire on the territory of a regional fulfillment center with an area of about 93,500 square meters. It is used for storage and sorting of goods, order picking, and dispatch.

However, the company itself stated that the warehouse in Nevinnomyssk was evacuated due to the threat of attack, employees were unharmed, and the facility and goods inside remained undamaged.

The most serious consequences were recorded in Dagestan. There, the Ozon logistics complex in the Tyube industrial park of the Kumtorkalinsky district caught fire. Its area is about 130,000 square meters, and it was previously named the largest warehouse of the company in the North Caucasus.

Ozon confirmed that after the attack on the logistics center, a fire broke out and several people were injured. They were examined by medics; there is no threat to life. The warehouse's operations were halted, some goods were removed from the marketplace's showcase, and logistics routes began to be redistributed among other centers.

Regional authorities in Dagestan reported the falling of drone fragments, damage to an infrastructure facility, and ignition of warehouse premises.

Separately, in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Oblast, local residents reported smoke over the city after the attack. The Russian defense industry enterprise "Kombinat Kamensky", which was already attacked on August 16, is located there, but the cause of the current smoke has not been established at this time.

In Krasnodar, two children died as a result of drone debris falling on a private children's center. Seven more children and two adults were injured. Damage to residential buildings and structures under construction was also reported.
