In Poland, limit prices for fuel have been raised again
In Poland, the maximum retail prices for all main types of motor fuel will increase from August 25. The limit price for A-98 petrol will be raised the most - by 4 groszy per liter.
According to the new announcement by Poland's Minister of Energy, a liter of A-95 petrol will be able to cost no more than 6.57 zlotys. On Monday, August 24, the limit price was 6.54 zlotys, so the limit will increase by 3 groszy.
For A-98 petrol, the maximum price was increased from 7.36 to 7.40 zlotys per liter. Diesel fuel will be able to cost up to 7.61 zlotys compared to 7.59 zlotys the day before.

This concerns the maximum permitted prices: individual petrol stations may sell fuel cheaper than the established level.
The price cap mechanism in Poland was resumed in August as part of a package of measures to curb fuel costs. The Minister of Energy sets new maximum rates on working days. At the same time, a reduced VAT rate on petrol and diesel applies until the end of August - 8% instead of the standard 23%.
