Two gas station chains raised gasoline and diesel prices - price monitoring
Average retail fuel prices in Ukraine on August 25 changed in mixed directions. Gasoline A-95 fell by 3 kopecks to 80.02 UAH/l, while A-95+ jumped by 55 kopecks to 83.64 UAH/l. The average price of diesel fuel increased by 7 kopecks, and autogas remained unchanged.

The most noticeable change over the day occurred in the premium gasoline segment. The average price of A-95+ increased by 55 kopecks per liter. Diesel increased significantly less - by 7 kopecks.
Meanwhile, standard A-95 became cheaper on average in the country by 3 kopecks. Prices for A-92 and liquefied gas remained unchanged.
What changed in major chains
In most major operators, prices remained unchanged over the day. The most significant adjustment occurred in the UKRNAFTA network: A-95+ became more expensive by 3 UAH - from 78.90 to 81.90 UAH/l.
The UPG network raised the average price of diesel fuel by 1 UAH - to 90.90 UAH/l.
At BRSM-Nafta, on the contrary, the average price of A-95 decreased by 9 kopecks - to 77.94 UAH/l, and diesel fuel - by 18 kopecks, to 89.56 UAH/l. Autogas in the network on average became more expensive by 5 kopecks - to 41.39 UAH/l.
Among the eight largest operators, the most expensive A-95 on August 25 is offered by OKKO, WOG, and SOCAR — on average 82.90 UAH/l. The lowest average price in this group is at BRSM-Nafta — 77.94 UAH/l.
In the diesel segment, the highest average price among the top 8 is recorded at SOCAR — 94.90 UAH/l. The cheapest diesel fuel among large operators remains at BRSM-Nafta — 89.56 UAH/l, a bit more expensive at UKRNAFTA — 89.90 UAH/l.
Autogas is most expensive at WOG — 44.50 UAH/l, while the lowest price among the top 8 operators is recorded at BRSM-Nafta — 41.39 UAH/l.
Some smaller chains noticeably changed prices
Among other operators, the largest decrease was recorded at VostokGaz. The network reduced the average price of A-95 by 2 UAH - to 77.99 UAH/l, diesel fuel also by 2 UAH - to 90.99 UAH/l, and autogas - by 1 UAH, to 41.99 UAH/l.
At the DNIPRONAFTA network, A-95 became cheaper by 1 UAH - to 76.99 UAH/l, while the average price of autogas increased by approximately 17 kopecks - to 42.99 UAH/l.
Katral raised the price of A-95+ by 1 UAH - to 81.99 UAH/l, but simultaneously reduced diesel by 1 UAH - to 90.99 UAH/l and autogas by 20 kopecks - to 41.79 UAH/l.
Thus, on August 25, main price changes at Ukrainian gas stations were concentrated in individual chains and fuel types. Most major operators kept the previous day's prices, but the increase in A-95+ at UKRNAFTA and diesel at UPG noticeably affected the nationwide average indicators.
