Bail payments have begun for the NABU case suspects from the Presidential Office
A bail of UAH 7 million, as set by the court, has been paid in full for Viktor Dubovyk, the head of the Legal Policy Directorate of the Presidential Office. Meanwhile, for Iryna Mudra, the former Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, whom the HACC sent to custody with a bail of UAH 20 million, a part of the required amount has already been paid.
The High Anti-Corruption Court confirmed to Suspilne that the bail for Dubovyk has been paid in full. On August 21, the HACC imposed a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention with an alternative of UAH 7 million bail.
If bail is posted, Dubovyk is subject to a number of procedural obligations. In particular, the court ordered him to wear an electronic bracelet.
Iryna Mudra has been in custody by the HACC decision of August 25. The court set 60 days of detention with the possibility of posting UAH 20 million bail.
Her lawyer Artem Krykun-Trush reported on August 26 that a part of the funds had already been paid. He did not name the exact amount, but noted that there are several bail payers. The HACC press service also confirmed to Suspilne that a partial bail payment had been made.
Mudra and Dubovyk are involved in NABU and SAPO investigations
The names of Mudra and Dubovyk were previously publicly mentioned by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office prosecutor during the HACC hearing. They are mentioned among the suspects in the materials of the related NABU and SAPO investigations "Forest Gump" and "Themis".
According to the investigation, members of the criminal organization tried to gain control over expensive real estate and assets of enterprises, using forged documents, court decisions and unauthorized interference into the information systems of the Ministry of Justice.
NABU claims that in the fall of 2025, members of the organization seized two enterprises with total asset value of UAH 248 million. The purpose of one of the episodes was to gain control over real estate in central Kyiv worth over UAH 500 million. In May 2026, according to the investigation, there was another attempt to take hold of capital's real estate worth over UAH 207 million.
A separate episode concerns the legalization of UAH 150 million in cash through accounts of shell companies and the state-owned Sense Bank. According to NABU, these funds were subsequently used to pay the bail for one of the suspects in the "Midas" case.
Earlier, "Kurs Ukrainy" also reported on the recordings of suspects' conversations disclosed by NABU and on the list of 13 persons whom the SAPO prosecutor named during the court hearing. Among them were Mudra and Dubovyk.
The investigation is ongoing. The described circumstances are the prosecution's version, and the guilt of the suspects can only be established by a court.
