Nvidia's revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2027 reached $96.2 billion, up 106% from the same period a year earlier. Demand for AI computing infrastructure remains the primary growth driver: data centers contributed $89 billion to the company's revenue.

This is stated in Nvidia's financial report for the quarter ended July 26, 2026.

Compared to the previous quarter, the chipmaker's revenue grew by 18%, from $81.6 billion to $96.2 billion. A year ago, this figure was $46.7 billion.

Nvidia's GAAP net income reached $59.7 billion, a 126% increase from a year earlier, when the company earned $26.4 billion. Compared to the previous quarter, profit grew by 2%.

Operating income increased 124% year over year to $63.7 billion, while diluted earnings per share rose from $1.08 to $2.46.

Data Centers Generated $89 Billion

Data center solutions remain Nvidia's largest business, serving as the foundation for modern AI infrastructure.

Revenue from this segment in the second quarter was $89 billion, up 117% year over year and up 18% sequentially.

Thus, data centers accounted for more than 92% of Nvidia's total quarterly revenue.

The company attributes continued demand growth to the large-scale construction of so-called AI factories—large data centers for training and running AI models.

According to Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang, demand for computing power continues to accelerate. The company also announced that its new Vera Rubin platform has entered volume production, and hardware based on it is being deployed by partners including Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and CoreWeave.

Nvidia Expects Revenue of up to $108 Billion

In the third quarter of the current fiscal year, Nvidia forecasts revenue of $108 billion, with a possible 2% variance in either direction.

However, this forecast does not account for potential revenue from sales of data center computing solutions in China.

The company's gross margin in the next quarter is expected to be around 74%, while GAAP operating expenses are estimated at approximately $9.2 billion.

During the second quarter, Nvidia returned approximately $26 billion to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends. As of the end of the reporting period, the company still had about $99 billion remaining under its authorized share buyback program.
