In Kharkiv, a Russian drone attacked a shopping center (Updated)

On August 27, Russian troops struck a combat drone at a shopping center in the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, a 40-year-old man died, and the number of injured rose to four.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov reported the strike.

At about 12:16, Terekhov reported an enemy drone strike on the Osnovianskyi district, and soon clarified that the hit occurred at a shopping center.

Initially, the mayor reported three injured. According to him, one of them was in extremely serious condition.

Later, Syniehubov reported that a 40-year-old man died as a result of the Russian strike. As of 13:09, the number of injured as a result of the attack rose to four.

People evacuated from the shopping center

After the hit, units of the State Emergency Service, medics, and other emergency services worked at the scene. Rescuers were eliminating the consequences of the attack and carrying out evacuation of people.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, all services are working in an enhanced mode, and the injured are receiving necessary medical assistance.

The extent of damage to the shopping center was not officially clarified at the time of the report.
