Russian strikes destroyed two sorting centers of "Nova Poshta" overnight

On the night of August 28, Russian attacks destroyed sorting facilities of "Nova Poshta" in Sumy and Kyiv region. Russian troops dropped four guided aerial bombs on the terminal in Sumy, and the sorting depot in Kyiv region was destroyed by a drone strike.

"Nova Poshta" reported on the consequences of the attack. According to the company, the strike on the terminal in Sumy also damaged three trucks.

In Kyiv region, the company's facility in Sviatopetrivske, Bilohorodka community, was hit. Local authorities reported the strike on "Nova Poshta" warehouse premises and damage to a nearby production facility.

After the first strike, Russian troops attacked the same location again. According to community representatives, about an hour later, while the fire was already being extinguished, two more strikes hit the facility. Rescuers managed to move to a safer place.

"Nova Poshta" reported that all its employees survived. At the same time, local authorities noted that information about possible other victims at the site was still being clarified.

The fire in Sviatopetrivske caused significant smoke. Residents of the settlement and nearby areas were urged to close windows and not go outside unnecessarily. Units of the State Emergency Service, the local fire brigade, police, and utility services are working on the spot.

The company is currently assessing the scale of the damage. "Nova Poshta" stated that it will compensate customers for the full declared value of damaged shipments and will contact them separately regarding compensation details.

Despite the destruction, the company continues to operate. Customers can check the current status of shipments in the mobile app and on the official website of "Nova Poshta".
