NBU exchange rates for August 31
Exchange rates of major currencies set by the National Bank of Ukraine on Monday, August 31, 2026
The dollar rate, compared to August 30, reached 44.5505 per 1 dollar.
The euro rate rose to 51.8804 per 1 euro.
The pound sterling rate increased by 4 kopecks to 60.5232 per 1 pound sterling.
The Swiss franc rate increased by 10 kopecks to 55.4207 per 1 Swiss franc.
The Polish zloty decreased by 2 kopecks to 11.9625 per 1 Polish zloty.

The National Bank of Ukraine sets the rate between 15:00 and 16:00, and the rate takes effect the next day. Also, at 12:00, the NBU publishes a reference rate value, which serves as a guide for what to expect at 15:00. On weekends and holidays, the rates of the last working day are valid.
The National Bank continues to work daily to maintain the stability of the hryvnia by conducting foreign exchange interventions and does not allow significant exchange rate fluctuations.
