Russian strike damages PepsiCo production in Mykolaiv region

PepsiCo's production facility in the Mykolaiv region was damaged as a result of a Russian attack on August 29. The company's employees were not injured, and PepsiCo is currently assessing the extent of the consequences and working to restore product supply.

The company reported the damage to the production facility in its official statement.

"The safety of our employees is our top priority, and we confirm that there were no casualties", PepsiCo noted.

The company informed that it is currently determining the full scope of damages. At the same time, PepsiCo is taking steps to restore the supply of its products to customers and consumers in Ukraine.

Earlier, the State Emergency Service reported a Russian attack on a food industry enterprise in the Mykolaiv district. According to rescuers, the strike damaged a warehouse, after which a large-scale fire broke out on the site.

The SES also reported that no people were injured in this attack. The company's name was not mentioned in the rescuers' report.

PepsiCo is one of the major food and beverage manufacturers in Ukraine. The damage to its production facility occurred amid intensified Russian attacks on the industrial, warehousing, and logistics infrastructure of Ukrainian businesses.
