RF attacked a "Nova Poshta" terminal in Odesa region, new strikes on Kyiv region (Updated)
Russian troops struck a "Nova Poshta" terminal in the Odesa region. A fire broke out at the facility, which rescuers have already extinguished. According to preliminary data, no people were injured.
The Odesa Regional Military Administration reported on the consequences of the attack on the morning of August 31. Relevant emergency services are working at the strike site.
Local Telegram channels had previously reported on the hit on the "Nova Poshta" facility, but official confirmation came later from the regional authorities. There are currently no detailed data on the extent of the damage to the terminal and the possible impact of the attack on the company's operations.
An enterprise in the Dnipropetrovsk region has been damaged
That same night, Russian troops attacked four districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Pavlohrad district, the Troitske and Bohdanivka communities came under attack, fires broke out and an enterprise was damaged.
New fires reported at warehouses in Kyiv and the region
On the morning of August 31, a fire broke out in warehouse premises in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv. The information was officially confirmed by the Kyiv City Military Administration.
According to the KCMA, relevant services were sent to the scene. Detailed information about the causes of the fire, the area of the fire, possible damage and casualties is currently being clarified.
In addition, local Telegram channels report a fire at warehouse premises in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region. There is no official confirmation of the details of this event at the time of publication.
Russia launched 121 drones
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of August 31, Russia attacked Ukraine with one Kh-59 guided air missile and 121 drones of the Shahed, "Gerbera" types and imitation drones. Most of the Shaheds used were jet-powered.
Air defense shot down or suppressed 96 Russian UAVs. The Kh-59 missile did not reach its target. According to preliminary military data, hits by air attack means were recorded at 11 locations, and the fall of downed targets and their debris at eight more.
