NBU exchange rates for September 1

The exchange rates of major currencies set by the National Bank of Ukraine on Tuesday, September 1, 2026

The US dollar rate, compared to August 31, fell to 44.5249 per 1 dollar.

The euro decreased by 24 kopecks to 51.6369 per 1 euro.

The pound sterling rate dropped by 24 kopecks to 60.2805 per 1 pound sterling.

The Swiss franc decreased by 35 kopecks to 55.0703 per 1 Swiss franc.

The Polish zloty decreased by 3 kopecks to 11.9315 per 1 Polish zloty.

The National Bank of Ukraine sets the exchange rate from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and the rate takes effect the next day. Also at 12:00 PM, the NBU publishes a reference value of the rate, which serves as an indicator of what to expect at 3:00 PM. On weekends and holidays, the rates of the last working day apply.

The National Bank continues to work daily to maintain the stability of the hryvnia, conducting currency interventions, and does not allow significant fluctuations in the exchange rate.
