Nova Post has entered another major foreign market

Ukrainian logistics company Nova Post has entered the Canadian market, which became the 18th country in its international network. The company has launched delivery of documents and parcels weighing up to 30 kg between Canada and Ukraine.

Delivery time between the two countries starts from five days. Shipments from Canada can be arranged online on the Nova Post website or in the app, and then handed to a courier or left at one of approximately 1,100 partner UPS Store locations.

The cost of delivery from Canada to Ukraine is 37 Canadian dollars for documents and parcels weighing up to 1 kg. Shipments up to 2 kg cost 47 Canadian dollars, up to 10 kg - 99 dollars, and up to 30 kg - 215 dollars.

Nova Post expects the new route to be used not only by individual customers but also by Ukrainian companies selling goods in Canada. According to the company, even before the official announcement of entering the market, over 3 thousand shipments have already been processed through the new route, most of which were goods from Ukrainian manufacturers.

An additional advantage for Ukrainian exports is the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada. Under CUFTA, Canada has eliminated tariffs on 99.9% of imports from Ukraine. However, Canadian GST/HST taxes may apply when importing goods, depending on the category of goods and the province of the recipient.

For goods valued at no more than 20 Canadian dollars sent by mail or courier, Canada generally exempts them from GST/HST. Exceptions are provided, in particular, for certain excise goods and some types of printed materials.

Entering the Canadian market continues NOVA's international expansion. In the first half of 2026, the group processed 17.9 million international shipments, and earlier this year the company also launched operations in the United States.
