Postal lockers of "Ukrposhta" appear in almost all regions

"Ukrposhta" expanded its network of indoor postal lockers to 506 devices, which are already operating in branches across 21 regions of Ukraine. The company plans to purchase additional lockers, and the next stage will be the deployment of outdoor units.

According to general director of "Ukrposhta", Igor Smelyansky, indoor lockers have already appeared in the busiest branches almost nationwide. Kherson remains an exception for now.

Indoor lockers are installed directly in branches. They allow customers to independently pick up prepaid parcels without contacting an operator or waiting in a general queue.

There is no additional charge for receiving a shipment via a locker. Lockers can accommodate prepaid parcels that meet the parameters established for the service.

The company notes that demand for this method of receiving shipments has proven high, so "Ukrposhta" decided to purchase additional devices and continue expanding the network.

In parallel, the operator is preparing to install outdoor lockers. "Ukrposhta" is already accepting applications from condominium associations, management companies, and representatives of residential complexes who wish to place a locker near their buildings.

Installation and maintenance of such devices is undertaken by "Ukrposhta." From the location, in particular, it is required to connect the locker to the electrical grid.
