Russian strike may have hit large pharmaceutical warehouse near Boryspil
A large fire broke out at warehouse facilities in Boryspil district, Kyiv region, after a Russian air attack. Local public channels report that warehouses of the company "Biocon", which works in pharmaceutical logistics, are burning. Officially, the ownership of the damaged premises by the company has not yet been confirmed.
On the morning of September 3, videos of a large fire were circulated on social media, and it was reported that the fire engulfed the warehouse premises of "Biocon" near Boryspil.
The head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, previously confirmed significant damage to commercial infrastructure in Boryspil district, but did not disclose the names of the enterprises.
According to him, as a result of the Russian attack, warehouse premises, an administrative building, a store, and small architectural forms were damaged. A man received shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.
The company "Biocon" has not officially reported damage to its objects at the time of publication, so the information that its warehouses were hit is currently based on reports from local public channels.
Meanwhile, open registry data confirm that LLC "HFC "Biocon" operates in the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka, Boryspil district. The company is registered at 9 Boryspilska St., and its main activity is warehousing.
The enterprise is also registered in the spheres of production of pharmaceutical preparations and materials, freight road transport, and other auxiliary transport activities. According to Opendatabot, in 2025 its revenue amounted to UAH 272.4 million, assets - over UAH 1 billion, and the staff numbered 180 employees. As a result of the first half of 2026, the number of employees increased to 194.
The site in Velyka Oleksandrivka has been used for a long time precisely for pharmaceutical and warehouse activities. The State Service of Ukraine on Medicines previously indicated this address as the place of HFC "Biocon"'s activity in the production of medicines in part of secondary packaging.
In addition, in the structure of border inspection control of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, a post "Biocon" operates at the same address. In specialized directories, the company also lists among its services the organization of commercial and customs licensed warehouse, freight forwarding, and warehouse logistics.
Thus, if the information about the destruction of the object of HFC "Biocon" is confirmed, then it is about the damage to a notable pharmaceutical warehouse and logistics site. The scale of the fire, losses of commodity stocks, and possible impact on the company's operations are still unknown.
