Ukrainians in frontline regions will be able to receive over 19,000 UAH for the heating season

Over 380,000 families living in frontline communities of Ukraine will receive one-time assistance in the amount of 19,400 UAH to get through the heating season. 7.4 billion UAH from international humanitarian organizations were attracted for the program.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretskyy announced this.

The assistance is intended for the most vulnerable categories of the population living in frontline communities.

Who will be able to receive 19,400 UAH

The list of recipients of winter assistance will include:

  • people with disabilities;
  • single pensioners;
  • internally displaced persons;
  • recipients of housing subsidies;
  • large and foster families;
  • single mothers;
  • families with children with disabilities;
  • family-type children's homes;
  • patronage families.

Each household that meets the program conditions will be able to receive 19,400 UAH one-time.

Applications will be accepted until October 30

You can apply for assistance until October 30. Three ways are provided: contacting the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Administrative Services Center, or a local authority.

Funds can be received to a bank account or via Ukrposhta.

To finance the program, the government attracted 7.4 billion UAH of international humanitarian aid. Part of the funds was provided by UNICEF and the Ukrainian Red Cross through the Humanitarian Account of the Ministry of Social Policy.

The program is aimed at supporting residents of frontline territories during the 2026/2027 heating season, for whom winter expenses are especially significant due to the difficult security and economic situation.
