Popular menu items disappeared from McDonald's due to air raid alerts - company's explanation

In some McDonald's restaurants in Ukraine, certain menu items may be temporarily unavailable due to supply delays caused by frequent and prolonged air raid alerts.

This was reported by McDonald's Ukraine in a comment to "Ekonomichna Pravda".

The company explained that regular air raid alerts affect logistics and may delay the supply of products to individual restaurants. As a result, some dishes sometimes temporarily disappear from the menus of specific locations.

It is not a nationwide shortage of products across the chain, but rather local and temporary disruptions in individual restaurants.

Visitors reported the absence of French fries and nuggets

Earlier, social media users noticed the absence of several popular items at McDonald's restaurants in Kyiv and its suburbs.

In particular, visitors to the restaurant in Hatne near Kyiv reported that they could not order some chicken dishes, potatoes, and certain desserts and sauces. At the restaurant on Sevastopolska Square in Kyiv, users also reported the temporary absence of French fries and chicken nuggets.

Meanwhile, visitors to other chain restaurants noted that the menu remained available in its usual scope, which also indicates the local nature of the disruptions.

McDonald's in Ukraine suspends customer service during air raid alerts and resumes operations after the all-clear. Frequent and prolonged restaurant closures simultaneously complicate logistics and inventory planning.
