Due to Russian attack, warehouses and enterprises in Kyiv and region damaged

On the night of September 8, during a massive Russian attack on Kyiv and Kyiv region, warehouses, enterprises, and other non-residential infrastructure sustained significant damage. In the capital, fires broke out in warehouse premises and non-residential buildings, and the fire spread to a business center. In the region, an enterprise, production and storage facilities, as well as seven trucks were damaged.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) and local authorities, destruction and fires in Kyiv were recorded in at least five districts of the city.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a garage caught fire after the attack, from which the fire spread to nearby non-residential building and a business center. At other locations in the district, fires broke out in warehouse premises and on the grounds of a private school. The structures of a 26-story non-residential building were also damaged.

In the Podilskyi district, a warehouse building caught fire, and cars and garage boxes burned. As of morning, rescuers continued extinguishing fires in non-residential buildings of the district.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, as a result of falling debris, a fire broke out in warehouse premises.

In the Darnytskyi district, warehouse premises were damaged and caught fire as a result of the attack. In addition, a fire broke out in a garage near a private house, and a car was damaged.

In the Solomianskyi district, a fire occurred in a non-residential premises. Residential buildings were also damaged. In the Dniprovskyi district, rescuers extinguished garages and grass covering fires.

In Kyiv region, enterprises and warehouses damaged

Since the evening of September 7, Russian troops attacked the Kyiv region with reactive drones, ballistic missiles, and rockets. Damage to business and warehouse infrastructure was recorded in several districts at once.

In the Boryspil district, a storage facility and an enterprise were damaged, as well as seven trucks. In the Bila Tserkva district, production and storage facilities were affected. Residential buildings were also damaged there.

In the Brovary, Fastiv, and Obukhiv districts, damage to private houses and a car was recorded.

In Kyiv, as a result of the night attack, according to the latest data from the SESU, two people were killed and 10 were injured. Five wounded were hospitalized, two of them are in serious condition. Information about the scale of damage continues to be clarified.
