In Ukraine, 'Vlasna Sprava' Relaunched: Businesses to Receive Grants up to 2.5 Million UAH

On September 9, an updated grant program "Vlasna Sprava 2.0" began operating in Ukraine. Entrepreneurs will be able to receive funding not only for starting a new business but also for scaling up an existing one. The maximum grant amount has increased to 2.5 million UAH.

The launch of the updated program was announced by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

"Vlasna Sprava 2.0" combines two areas of support in one service. For starting a business, you can get from 100,000 to 500,000 UAH, and for scaling an already operating company - from 500,000 to 2.5 million UAH.

Grants will be increased for certain businesses

Along with the funding amounts, the state also changed the conditions of the program. Support for veterans and their family members was integrated into the general "Vlasna Sprava", and for projects in certain priority sectors, the possibility of increasing the grant was provided.

They also expanded the list of expenses that entrepreneurs can cover with grant funds. They can direct funding, in particular, to equipment, transport, repairs, rent, and digitalization of the business.

Another change concerns the term of business plan implementation. Now the entrepreneur can choose the period of its implementation - two, three or five years.

Applications will be accepted through three banks

You can apply for a grant online through the "Diia" portal. It is necessary to attach a business plan and choose one of two directions - starting or scaling up your own business.

At the start of the program, applications are accepted through Sense Bank. In a few days, Oschadbank should join the program, and later - PrivatBank.

Thus, the updated program for the first time clearly separates financing for novice entrepreneurs and companies that are already operating and need funds for further growth.
