Gasoline and diesel in Ukraine accelerate growth slightly, but some networks lower prices
Retail fuel prices in Ukraine continued to rise on September 9, with gasoline A-95, premium A-95+, and diesel again accelerating in price increase after slowing down the day before. Over the day, A-95 added an average of 35 kopecks/liter, A-95+ - 43 kopecks/liter, and diesel - 39 kopecks/liter. Autogas, on the contrary, fell by 1 kopeck/liter.
This is evidenced by data from the daily monitoring of the Consulting Group "A-95".
The average price of A-95 gasoline as of September 9 increased from 82.39 to 82.74 UAH/liter. Premium A-95+ rose from 86.22 to 86.65 UAH/liter, and diesel fuel from 92.83 to 93.22 UAH/liter.
A-92 gasoline almost did not change in price - it added only 1 kopeck, to 78.68 UAH/liter. Autogas slightly decreased - from 43.42 to 43.41 UAH/liter.

Thus, after a noticeable slowdown in gasoline price growth on September 8, the market accelerated again. The day before, A-95 added 18 kopecks/liter, A-95+ - 23 kopecks/liter, while on September 9 the increase was already 35 and 43 kopecks/liter respectively. Diesel also accelerated its price increase from 31 to 39 kopecks/liter.
At the same time, A-92 continued to stabilize: after an increase of 3 kopecks/liter the day before, it added only 1 kopeck. Autogas, after a symbolic increase of 1 kopeck/liter on September 8, lost that same kopeck the next day.
OKKO and UPG raised prices, KLO lowered
Among the eight largest operators, OKKO and UPG revised prices most noticeably on September 9.
OKKO increased the average cost of A-95, A-95+ and diesel fuel immediately by 1 UAH/liter - to 86.90, 89.90 and 96.90 UAH/liter respectively. Autogas remained at the level of 44.90 UAH/liter.
UPG also added 1 UAH/liter to gasoline: A-95 rose to 82.90 UAH/liter, A-95+ - to 84.90 UAH/liter. Diesel increased immediately by 1.05 UAH/liter - to 93 UAH/liter.
At the same time, WOG and SOCAR, after increasing the main fuel types by 1 UAH/liter the day before, left prices unchanged this time. UKRNAFTA also did not revise the main gasoline prices.
KLO went against the general trend: A-95, A-95+ and diesel in the network fell by 1 UAH/liter, and autogas - by 50 kopecks/liter. In "BRSM-Nafta" gasoline A-95 remained unchanged, while the average diesel price rose by about 32 kopecks/liter.
Among the eight operators, the cheapest A-95 remains in "BRSM-Nafta" - an average of 79.72 UAH/liter. The lowest average diesel price is also in this network - 89.85 UAH/liter. Among those operators where A-95+ is present, the lowest price is at UKRNAFTA - 83.90 UAH/liter.
The highest average price of A-95 in the sample is 86.90 UAH/liter - simultaneously at OKKO, WOG and SOCAR. These networks also have the most expensive A-95+ - 89.90 UAH/liter each. The highest diesel price is at SOCAR - 97.90 UAH/liter, and for autogas - at WOG, 45.50 UAH/liter.
In some networks prices changed even more sharply
Outside the top-8, fluctuations were significantly sharper. VostokGaz increased the average price of A-95 immediately by 3 UAH/liter - to 82.49 UAH/liter, and diesel - by 2 UAH/liter, to 93.99 UAH/liter. This was a reversal after reducing prices in the network the day before.
In "DNIPRONAFTA" A-95 rose on average by 1.33 UAH/liter, to 79.99 UAH/liter, and diesel - by 2 UAH/liter, to 91.32 UAH/liter. "Avtotrans" raised diesel immediately by 2 UAH/liter - to 94.90 UAH/liter.
The "Olas" network increased the average price of A-95 by 2 UAH/liter - to 81.80 UAH/liter, and A-92 - by 1.10 UAH/liter, to 79.90 UAH/liter. BVS and Marshal raised A-95, A-95+ and diesel by about 1 UAH/liter each.
At the same time, Neftek lowered by 1 UAH/liter the prices immediately for all presented fuel types - A-92, A-95, A-95+, diesel and autogas.
Thus, after a brief slowdown on September 8, the increase in prices for A-95 gasoline, premium gasoline and diesel gained pace again. At the same time, the market remains heterogeneous: along with the increase in OKKO and UPG price lists, some operators, in particular KLO and Neftek, went for a noticeable decrease.
