Russia struck Ukrnafta gas station in Kyiv
On September 10, Russia deliberately attacked the Ukrnafta gas station in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, near Respublika Park mall, with a drone. The video from the scene shows a direct drone hit on the gas station territory. Three people were injured as a result of the attack.
The State Emergency Service reported on the consequences. The moment of impact was published by the Telegram channel "Kyiv Operatyvnyi".
According to SES, three people were injured in the Holosiivskyi district as a result of the Russian attack on the gas station.
A passenger car caught fire at the site of the hit. A nearby public transport stop was also damaged.
In addition, a fire broke out in an eight-story non-residential building due to the attack. After a second hit, diesel generators caught fire. Rescuers continued to eliminate the consequences.
The video from "Kyiv Operatyvnyi" shows the moment when a Russian drone hits directly in the area of the gas station. The photos released by SES show U.GO branding at the facility.
Meanwhile, Ukrnafta's own official list of gas stations includes the station at 1 Kiltseva Road, located near Respublika Park, as part of the UKRNAFTA network. Some U.GO sites are being integrated into the state company's retail network in 2026.
Russia systematically attacks Ukrnafta gas stations
The current strike is a continuation of a series of Russian attacks on the fuel infrastructure of the state company.
Only on September 6, Ukrnafta reported four Russian attacks on its retail network in one day. A drone hit one of the sites in Kyiv region, two gas stations were attacked in Zaporizhzhia, and one in Dnipropetrovsk region.
The company then stated that Russia "systematically attacks civilian infrastructure that provides people with fuel and essential goods"
, and emphasized the absence of military targets at such sites.
The series of attacks has been going on for at least several months. On August 7 and 8, Russian drones attacked seven UKRNAFTA gas stations in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions. One company employee was injured and one gas station had to suspend operations.
Back in early July, Ukrnafta reported that Russian troops had attacked its production facilities and gas stations for almost a week in a row.
Thus, the direct hit on the gas station in Kyiv continues the series of deliberate Russian attacks on the retail fuel infrastructure of the largest state gas station network.
